His skin is ashen and dotted with freckles all over, and his hair is dark, ruffled and unkempt, often obscuring one of his eyes, which are a piercing yellow. He has a scar across his right eye, his left cheek, and the left corner of his mouth, and his body is covered in myriad scars as well, the largest of which runs across the very centre of his chest. He almost always carries a single glaive of ornate design wherever he goes, silver and crystalline points embedded in its head, and if it not on his person, it is guaranteed to be close at hand.Birthplace: Azim Steppe (?)Current Residence: A true wanderer, though at this time he most frequently can be found in Eorzea and, in particular, around Thanalan and the Black Shroud.

Background

Found beside his dying mother on the Azim Steppe, Tarkhan was taken and raised as a member of the Kheree, an offshoot of the Kha tribe.26 years later, Tarkhan has arrived in Eorzea, a trail of clues having led him to foreign shores, and yet, his withdrawn nature and the apparent lack of a clear direction in his actions hints that there is something more that spurs him onwards.Tarkhan, while a wanderer and capable survivalist in the wilderness, has made something of a living in tackling and tracking dangerous game and bounties, especially within the Black Shroud and Thanalan, and continues to do so, pitting himself against ever more dangerous foes.

Wanderer, Explorer: There's hardly a place where Tarkhan mightn't be spotted, and despite his efforts to make himself scarce and remain in the wilds, he still visits civilization from time to time for no apparent reason, though whether this is out of necessity or curiosity can depend...Steppe Dweller: Anyone who is familiar with the Azim Steppe would have a hard time mistaking his accent, and thanks to his upbringing, he is fluent in the common tongue of the Xaela.Bird Tamer: Tarkhan didn't arrive alone in Eorzea, for one may hear word of a both a Yol and a Muu Shuwuu sighted in close proximity to one another, an odd sight made even stranger by its distance from the birds' home range.Lancer, Hunter: Dangerous marks in any region are likely to attract Tarkhan's attention. He may be seen making inquiries or collecting bills or bounties at the local guild, and while he is not naturally a team player, he is not likely to turn down an offer of cooperation. The rather ornate glaive he carries is used in a personal fighting style.Aetheric Signature: Were one to have the ability to glimpse Tarkhan's soul, they would notice something amiss in both it and the way it interacts with his weapon...
